Welcome—we're so glad you're here! One of our friendly volunteers will greet your family, help check your child into our secure system, and walk you to their age-appropriate classroom. We’ll ask for some basic information to get started, including:
· Child’s name and birthdate
· Parent/guardian names
· Contact info (phone number, email, address)
· Any special instructions (allergies, medical needs, etc.)
Every child begins their Valley Kids experience at our Check-In Station. Once your child is checked in, you’ll receive matching ID tags—one for your child and one for you. These tags are unique to your family and are required for pick-up to ensure your child’s safety.
After the service, simply return to your child’s classroom and present your matching parent ID tag. For security, only the person with the matching tag will be allowed to pick up your child.
If we need to reach you, we’ll send a text message to the number you provided at check-in. We kindly ask that you step out of the auditorium and return to your child’s classroom as soon as possible.
For our Preschool-aged children and younger, we ask that parents handle diaper changes and bathroom needs. If your child needs assistance during the service, we’ll notify you via text using the phone number provided at check-in.
Our Valley Kids classroom teachers are dedicated volunteers who love working with children and are passionate about helping them grow in their faith. Each team member is carefully selected, trained, and background-checked to ensure a safe, secure, and nurturing environment.
In addition to safety training, our volunteers receive guidance on how to lead age-appropriate lessons, facilitate group activities, and create a welcoming space where every child feels seen, known, and loved.
